We design to your instrumentation and members based upon total requests by you. Your program will have as much or as little as you desire in the aspects of colorguard integration, specialty staging manipulations and prop and backdrop maneuvering.
Each CFP band design is original, not reformatted from an existing template of geometry that is scaled to fit your group. We use Pyware 3D(c) software.
Your design IS YOURS, we do not copy or "reuse" forms for the sake of "knowing it works". We pride ourselves on the originality that we bring to each band we design.
Our rates are based upon these 3 criteria items:
- Unit size, unit competitive level and add on design items (guard work design, flag and sets design).
- All show design fees are based at a minimum of 7 minutes of performance.
College and Show Bands receive a special rate.
We are a full time operation and are able to handle the special attention each group should get! We're not like other designers who are "part time" and stay awake all evening for weeks to get "your show done". We've been there before, and that's what we needed to change for us and for the better interest of the many bands that we have written and will design for in the future. The foundation in the quality of a CFP production is that we are there for you with a complete understanding of what role the drum and bugle corps activity has in pageantry. It should define, refine and set standards in musical and visual excitement and interest.
With over 30 years of experience to draw on as an educator, performer and adjudicator, CFP designs are contemporary and completely married to the audio elements.
Mr. Abate' has designed and consulted with the 1997,98 DCA World Champions ,The 1998 World Marching Showband World Champion, and the 1997,98 and 99 American Legion National Champions, Empire Statesmen of Rochester, NY since 1997. The Statesmen are considered "America's Entertainers" and are widely known as one of the most consistent competitors in the All Age Corps Activity finishing in the top 4 for the past 20 consecutive years as well as being named Sr. Corps of the Decade of the 1990's.
Ron had also been a part of The Kingston Grenadiers (Ontario, Canada) (DCA Finalists in 2003 and the 2004 DCA Class A World Champions) and DCI Division II's: Jersey Surf (3 time Spirit of Disney Award winners).
In years past The Rochester Crusaders, DCA Finalists (1991-97,07) were staple to our work and Mr. Abate' has returned to the Crusaders for the 2008 DCA season.He has also designed for the DCI Division 3 corps "Eagles of Central NY."
